Terms & conditions

By creating an account as a user/client or as a counsellor you agree to for the below.

What Vedant Minds is and is not

Vedant Minds connects you with independent, licensed counselling professionals. We are a platform for providing counselling for your issues and requirements, not a medical provider, and neither we nor our counsellors prescribe medicine or medication.

Vedant Minds is not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, call 112.

A. By creating a user account, you agree for the below — as a user/client

1. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to hold an account. A parent or legal guardian may book child and adolescent counselling on behalf of a minor and must be present for the first session.

2. Booking and payment

  • Fees are set by each counselor and shown, exclusive of GST, before you pay.
  • A slot is held for 15 minutes while you complete payment, and confirmed once payment succeeds.

3. Cancellations & refunds

  • Cancel 24 hours before your session for a full refund.
  • Cancel 12 hours before for a 50% refund.
  • Less than 12 hours before, or user not joining — no refund.

4. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of the platform is limited to the fees you paid. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud by either party — counsellors or users.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai have exclusive jurisdiction.

B. By creating a counsellor account, you agree to the below as a counsellor

1. Scope of counselling

Counsellors provide counselling according to the client's issues, requirements or needs. At no point may a counsellor, through our platform, give medicines or medication to a client.

2. Independence

Counsellors are independent practitioners, not employees of Vedant Minds. We verify their credentials and hold them to our code of conduct, but the counselling relationship is between you and your client. Any dispute between a counsellor and their client that needs legal intervention must be taken care of between them — Vedant Minds will in no way mediate.

3. Not a Medical provider

Vedant Minds is a platform for providing counselling for the issues and requirements of users, and is not a medical provider. Neither we nor our counsellors prescribe medicine or medication.

4. Governing law
